I have a variant of this pressing on the BLACK MCA label, with catalog # MCA-3094. It has the matrix of the first Terre Haute Pressing, MCA 1749 -1B \T(etched) on side one and MCA 1750-1A \T on side two, from 1979. Has anyone else seen this variant?

Street Life sounds a lot like Merry-go-Round from the previous album, also by Sample.

Sure, Street Life is great, but I wouldn't rate the album 5 stars based on this alone. The fact that every track on this album is great is what gives it 5 stars. Just an all around wonderful record.

Oh my god, this is a stormer! The Crusaders came up with this one after almost 20 years. Street Life is a classic among classics of the genre, its wonderful, beautiful and Randy Crawford vocals are second to non!
