Bill Dahl is a Chicago-based music writer and editor specializing in blues, r&b, soul, country, and rockabilly. He has written hundreds of liner notes. He has had published articles and columns in major domestic and foreign publications (e.g., Living Blues, Chicago Tribune, Illinois Entertainer, Vintage Rock, Blues Music Magazine), and authored the books Motown: The Golden Years; The Art Of The Blues; and Survivor: The Benny Turner Story.
