Glen Sherley

US country singer-songwriter (b: 09-Mar-1936 : d: 11−May-1978). Sherley was serving a sentence at Folsom Prison when At Folsom Prison album. After release from prison, Sherley continued to write and perform, but had difficulty in adjusting to life outside of prison. He retreated from performing before taking his own life in 1978.
