Elvin Spencer

Profile:	US soul singer and songwriter. Moved to Chicago in 1969 after leaving the army. His upbeat stomper “Lift This Hurt” has been released on five different labels and various versions. The first version was on the Al-Teen subsidiary Winner Records (2). It was a big tune in the UK Northern Soul scene.
