The Big Bubble

Profile:

A young quartet consisting of mostly Cross (common name given to the offspring resulting from Mole/Chub crossbreeding) musicians (Ramsey, Paul, Alex and Frank) who performed a kind of garage rock reflecting both Mole and Chub influences. They took their name from the title of their first single, but were relatively unknown until the prominent Zinkenite leader Kula Bocca hired them to play at a rally. The young crowd, sympathetic to the Mole nationalist movement, went wild when Ramsey, The Big Bubble's front man, not only sang a song in praise of Kula Bocca, but began singing in the long-banned Mohelmot language. Their majestic "Cry For The Fire" brought the audience to its feet, and was unofficially adopted as the Zinkenite movement's new anthem. After Ramsey was arrested in the middle of a second performance for singing in Mohelmot, the public outcry was widespread and violent, and by the time he was released a few days later the publicity had made The Big Bubble an overnight sensation. They were quickly signed to Black Shroud records.
