Phones

Much respected indie rock producer (Futureheads, Maximo Park, Bloc Party, White Rose Movement...) by day, dirty electro DJ by night. Based in London, Paul "Phones" Epworth has been at the centre of the new rock/dance revolution that doesn't seem to have an official name other than the general 'Electro', 'Indie Rave' and 'Electro Indie' tags that are commonly used.

Not to be confused with Electro House (Steve Angello, Tom Neville etc), the scene is a romantic hybrid of the electro sound pioneered by the likes of Lady Sovereign.

Although not strictly in the same boat, he has often been talked about alongside the likes of Switch (2) with regard to the high quality of his remixes.
