Emmelie De Forest

Danish-Swedish singer, songwriter and actress, born February 28, 1993 in Randers, Denmark.

She was born in Randers but grew up in the town of Mariager with her Danish mother and Swedish father Ingvar, who first bore the surname Engström but later changed his surname to de Forest. She also spent a large part of her childhood in Stockholm, where her brothers and sisters still live today, while she herself lives in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

She represented Denmark with the song "Only Teardrops" in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden, winning the contest with 281 points.
