Trevor Nelson

British radio and club DJ, born in London on 7 January 1964.
DJ on London's Kiss FM from when it was a pirate radio station in the mid-1980s through to its legal launch before leaving in 1996 to ed BBC Radio 1. He later moved to 1Xtra and Radio 2.
Worked in A&R at EMI in the 1990s.
Hosted the MTV Base show from 1998 and has presented and appeared on numerous TV programmes.
In 2002 was awarded the MBE for his charitable work.
