Jamaican sound engineer, producer and composer who played an influential role in the development of reggae, ska and rocksteady. Died on 9 May 2010 in London, UK.

Building up the facilities, he started his career as resident engineer at Channel One Recording Studio.

He immigrated to England in the mid-'70s where he worked at The Buck Studio.

He was behind the labels Tropical Records (3).
In 2009 he was honored alongside Sylvan Morris by the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association for his contributions as engineer.

He is the father of Sid Buck Records reissue label.
