Johnny Terry

American singer, songwriter, producer, and label owner. Died 2005.

Terry co-wrote songs for Please, Please, Please' and 'You've Got The Power'. In 1963 he ed the Drifters as a bass singer, but left the group in 1965 to concentrate on his own productions.

He later produced many songs under his real name Winford Terry, such as 'Garrison.
