Staff band of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Founded on 16 February 1957 in Rheinbach/ as "Lehrmusikkorps der Bundeswehr". In 1959 it was moved to the present-day location in Siegburg and renamed to "Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr". Since 1st of July 2000 it acts as the concert orchestra of the Bundeswehr under the name Musikkorps Der Bundeswehr, while the former Heeresmusikkorps 400 / HMK400 in Berlin is named "Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr" since then.
