French horn initially, and tuba player & teacher. Born in 1941 in Leeds, UK - Died October 1987.
In 1964, he went to London and went to work for the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, who he remained with until 1986.
In 1967, he married the mezzo-soprano Margaret Cable.
