American big band saxophonist and vocalist.
He sang mostly with Freddy Martin, Kay Kyser and Russ Morgan.
He sang lead on "Tonight We Love" by Freddy Martin and His Orchestra in 1941. It sold over one million copies and was awarded a gold disc by the RIAA. He also sang lead on "Symphony" by Freddy Martin and His Orchestra, which hit #1 in the U.S. in 1945. All told he sang on seven songs of Martin's that chart in the top 20 between 1941-1945.
