Vik Records is the continuation of the "X" releases were reissued on Vik.

On November 1, 1958, Vik was discontinued in most of the world except for Italy, Spain, Lebanon, Argentina and Venezuela, and discontinued in the former two in 1966. It remained active in Lebanon and Venezuela, while in Argentina it morphed into BMG in 1986.

    Many albums were issued under this label in countries such as Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay, even in Stereo, YEARS AFTER RCA in U. S. A. had discontinued it in 1958.
