California State University, Monterey Bay

American public university, founded in 1994 and located in Monterey County, California. California State University, Monterey Bay (also known as CSUMB or Cal State Monterey Bay) is one of 23 institutions in the California State University (CSU) system. The school's main campus is at the former military base Fort Ord, about one mile inland from Monterey Bay along the Central Coast of California.
