A totally underrated label. One of the most creative progressive house labels out there. Many tracks didnt age so well but diggers will always find a hidden jewel on this label, and producers will find many interesting ideas.

Edited 19 years agoWonka Beats always stood out from the rest due to their excellent sleeve art, ranging from artistic to just funny (Nuts on Mars). The music usually stood out too, but not always in a good way. These records were hot and had to be got back in the 90s. It's mostly nostalgia that makes me want to listen to the tracks again today since most of it is pretty strange or just-not-quite-there. The Wonka team always strived to bring something different from the mainstream though, and IMHO usually succeeded.
