Ramport Studios

The Who's recording studio located at 115 Thessaly Road, London, UK. Founded in 1972 and initially named The Kitchen, it was soon renamed Ramport Studios. Although originally intended for the personal use of the band, the high build cost meant that the studio would become a commercial facility and quickly established itself as one of the top independent studios in London.

The facility was purchased by Virgin Records and renamed Townhouse 3 in 1983.
