Kunstencentrum Vooruit

Concert hall and arts centre in Ghent, Belgium. It is located in a building historically used as banquet hall and theatre by the local Socialist movement. After the Second World War the it fell out of use and the building was neglected. Starting in 1982 the building was repurposed as bar and concert hall and renovated for that purpose. In May 2022 the arts centre was renamed Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER after the Flemish Socialist party had reclaimed the name Vooruit. The building itself still is known as De Vooruit though.
