Acme Vinyl Corp.

CD and vinyl pressing company located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Originally established as a vinyl plant for independent Canadian dance 12" releases by a group of indie businessmen including The Stickmen. In activity between 1994 and 2005.

Vinyl pressings are identifiable when acme or ACME or ACME VINYL appear in runouts. AVC (enclosed in a rhombus) appears in runouts when the release was mastered at NSC, or Sound Enterprises, Detroit, Michigan (USA). Sometimes the label will state "made in canada @ acme" or "Made in Canada at Acme Vinyl" on releases.

CD pressings will have www.acmevinyl.com in the mould.
