US label that was initially launched in January 1967 as a budget label by Columbia Records.

Pre-1970 pressings have a bird logo at the left side of the labels. 1970 and later pressing have repeated "Columbia" and "Odyssey" written around the rim with logos in between the label names.
It was changed into a reissue label in the mid-1970s and back to a budget label in 1987. In 2002 it was once again relaunched, with a new logo. Sometimes I Dream" was the first release.
In 1973 Columbia Records' Japanese introduced Odyssey as a label for modern folk music.
