Caroline Exports

A UK-based distribution company founded by Richard Branson.

1972: incorporated as Caroline Records (Export) Limited; 1979: became Caroline Export Limited; 1980: became Caroline International Ltd.; July 2008: dissolved. However, the launch of the Caroline International division of Universal Music Group in 2013 has apparently resulted in the inclusion of "Caroline International Ltd." on recent releases, despite there being no verifiable, active company by that name.
