Sound-Pol

Sound-Pol was set up in 1990 as a record company (LC10103).
At that time Polish market has been dominated by illegal productions, and the firm against the times and lack of respect for copyrights published legally CDs from PolyGram catalogue. They had been the only firm in Poland with such authorisation.

In 1994 Polish Parliament ed a new law on copyright. In the same year the company started their publishing activity. They had been one of the first private music publishers in Poland. PolyGram's authorisation ed to PolyGram Polska.

In 2005 it was acquired by EMI Production Music, a production music division of its parent.
