Eloquence

This series originated as a budget series from Universal Music Group, established in the 1990s. The series releases consisted of previously-released recordings with minimal information.
Since 1999, the series has been run out of Australia, under John Derry. They initially focused on single and multiple disc sets of out-of-print recordings, and never previously-unreleased on compact disc recordings from deep in Universal’s classical label subsidiaries’ catalogs.
By 2021, Eloquence limited their releases to boxed sets only. They are of limited run and smaller in size (number of discs) than box sets released by Decca and Deutsche Grammophon, which generally no longer issue box sets smaller than 30 to 35 discs.
