Capitol Magnetic Products

Capitol Magnetic Products was a manufacturer of blank tapes and master audio recording discs branded "audiodisc" and later "Apollo Audiodisc"
Established in 1974 with the merger of Capitol Records to form Capitol Industries, Inc and closed in the late 80s with the decline of the vinyl record market.. Acetates were supplied with self adhesive labels to identify the contents of the disc. Acetates carrying the "audiodisc" self adhesive label could have been cut at any studio anywhere in the world and are not Capitol Magnetics cuts or issues.
