I wouldn’t consider myself a Dylan obsessive even though I have virtually all his albums if you get my drift. That being said this is one of my absolute favourites. Very intimate and live sounding including the infamous cuff links hitting the pick guard. Highly recommended. -

Wanted to highly esteem this release, sadly it’s riddled with Rice Krispies and even after a good power wash it still disappoints. It’s also missing a label on LP 1. The songs are top notch Bob. Just bummed out the dynamics are lacking and the pressing is noisy. I guess I got a dud. -

I just got a brand new copy of this. Is there some knocking or chopping sound on other copies? It’s not in the dead space so I’m assuming it’s some kind of artifact of the source, either the tape itself or just Bob hitting his guitar or chair with something. Anyone else hear it? Almost like a clock ticking type, but not in time. -

The liner notes are actually incorrect - liner notes say the take of Idiot Wind on this record is the same take 4 remake from the first bootleg series. This is incorrect - the take on this LP is different than the one present on the Bootleg series vol. 1-3. Furthermore, the take available on youtube and streaming (the sampler version of this album) is actually the take 4 remake from the first bootleg series, NOT take 6 (which is what it says it is on youtube and streaming.) -
One thing that annoys me about this is that it's the only Bootleg in single disc form and it's in a jewel case!
It would have been nice to get it in a digipack or card sleeve to fit in with the rest of the bootleg series. -
Worth absolutely every single cent! My edition also came with a set of 5 square Bob Dylan badges/buttons.
