Edited 9 months agoYou can find BAD STUFF for about 1/4th the price of 1972's THE SWEET LIFE and/or 1973's THE CISCO KID. Unless you desperately desire the individual albums, grab this. Although both the front and back album jacket of THE CISCO KID is pretty sweet. You don't find shit eatin' grins like that everywhere. But I paid $10 for a VG+ copy of this 2-for-1, and it sounds pretty doggone good, with loads of low end, crispy peaks, fat midrange, and just a banger X 2. My copy plays nice and pretty, with no surface noise to speak of.

Edited one year agoI picked this up used a few yrs ago for $6 and my cover is also beat but the vinyl is VG Plus , these albums jam n groove , excellent press and recordings … Indeed Reuben Wilson is the Groove Merchant! Get these why they’re cheap they will not disappoint

I’m a bit confused because the album I picked up looks to be the exact one in the photos. It’s got the same wear on it and the same hole as picture on the front and back. Could it be that the one in the photo found its way to me? Would love to know if someone else who has this album has the same hole and the same wear. Mine is pretty beat up and looks like it may have belonged to a DJ. The record itself is in decent condition but it’s dirty. But with all this considered it still sounds AMAZING!!! I have to say, the mastering and quality of the sound of this pressing are really impressive given how beat my copy is. The jacket of mine is all taped up and really has been through the wringer but fortunately the record still sounds dope. If you find this one grab it. 2 records for 1 and I can’t imagine it sounding any better than this really.
