This album always sounded like it was mastered to cassette with a lot of compression lol

The best pressing at the moment (obviously). MOV did a good work with this EP that deserved a vinyl pressing in 1995.

They really should release this as a single sided 12" with just the title track. Maybe do an etching on the blank side to draw in those who like gimmicks. Price it at $20-25 usd, done.

A vinyl record of one track, long, played at concerts, which has no place on any album.
The composition "A Change of Seasons", which is a real magnet and the overriding attraction of the publishing house. Although the album "A Change Of Seasons" lasts almost an hour, at the time of release it was called an EP,
to avoid being seen as a new traditional studio album. In my opinion, the group set a high standard for themselves with this piece, currently unsured!

Horrible sound quality. Bad Mixing and Mastering. I love this music, but the studio workers did a bad job.

In the 70s, the suite was the typical song format for progressive bands. An extended piece characterized by different movements bound together that could express all musicians overflowing creativity: an entire LP side occupied by it, as an ambitious rock symphony that broke song structure as known since then. In the 90s Dream Theater gave new life to this musical idea. A Change of Seasons - composed at the beginning of the 90s, but recorded and published in 1995 due to label pressure - is a monumental opus in seven acts. One of the finest moments in Dream Theater career for emotive intensity and melodic creativity, a masterpiece that combine metal heaviness with progressive refinement. Interesting (but not memorable) cover versions of classic songs complete the album, but the most memorable classic is the suite itself.
