Outstanding release - had me laughing and crying at the same time, I could feel the joy in the room with Bob & Johnny and I loved every second of it. My pressing was perfect, no warps or clicks - just superb all round. -

Edited 2 years agoOne complaint of this series .... There's not enough John Wesley Harding on this .... Ok here's another way of being simple about this... This is was all there was in the vault including remixing the regular stereo album which needed it mostly more then any Dylan record. That harmonica on the original mix is just brain damaging and more Nashville Skyline NO ? OK ? .... I like Johnny Cash but Jesus ....was there not enough room on a CD for more Wesley Harding.... Am I the only one that notices this ... 6 CD's of THE BASEMENT TAPES forget that one how about that one that goes for 2,000 dollars now which number was that https://discogs.sitiodesbloquea.com/release/7722618-Bob-Dylan-The-Cutting-Edge-1965-1966-The-Bootleg-Series-Vol12-Collectors-Edition ... Great music, but really, really cheap packaging on this one. The whole 'box' is made of very lightweight cardboard. Handsomely printed, but I expect that outer flap will degrade quickly.
Also, the inner sleeves are paper only - no inner lining. I took mine out of those sleeves and replaced them with mofi sleeves and it all JUST fit back in the box. -

Since the release of Nashville Skyline we've been waiting for this collection. Wither we realized it or not. -
2 copies of this heard and sent back. Both had non-fill on the discs. Another MPO-non-fill special.

Edited 5 years agoLP 3 was warped on two copies now. LP 1 & 2 have been okay. Returning and trying again....
Update, 3rd copy also has warped disc 3... I should have kept the first copy it was less warped :( -
