Released April 17, 2010 as a part of Record Store Day, "Fool's Day" is the first track recorded by the full four-member complement of Blur since "Battery In Your Leg" in 2003. It was released initially as a single-sided 7" record limited to 1000 copies UK-wide and, later the same day, made available in both WAV and mp3 format as a free from the official Blur website.
The 7" was issued months later in the United States with a green sleeve and green center label, as part of Various - Parlophone Record Store Day for Record Store Day.
