The original 'Paris' album contains recordings mainly performed on the first night of a four show series between 29th November and 2nd December 1979. The later 'Live In Paris '79' releases contain recordings from the 3rd night on 1st December 1979 captured in their own master release Supertramp - Live In Paris '79.

Compared to the 2025 reissue there’s no comparison. This is a far superior sounding album for a fraction of the price -

Purchased this audiophile version in 1984 when they were clearing them out to make way for CD's (LOL). I recently compared it to the standard pressing. The difference is dramatic. This one sounds much more "Live" with a wider, more immersive 3d soundstage and much more dynamic. Dead silent and perfectly flat; true audiophile vinyl (unlike some of today's so-called audiophile pressings) -

Enjoyable double live LP from Supertramp's 1979 world tour stop in Paris. Most but not all of their hits are present, and performances tend to adhere fairly closely to the studio versions. This pressing features excellent sound, at times you forget it's a live recording. My copy has some paper scuffs, but the vinyl plays very quiet and clean, with no noticeable surface noise. -
Excellent mastering. Much better than the digital versions. Quiet pressing as well and an excellent concert. Definitely a must have.

There is marked improvement this audiophile series over "regular" copy. More open sound stage and quieter background. -
My version has on side D: A&M SP06702D-S2. What is the meaning of these variations?
