Hiroshi Yoshimura – Green

Quiet pressing. Sounds great. Side B is slightly off center on mine but not enough to make an audible difference.

Picked up a copy of this colour edition a few days back and the sound is great. The delicacy of the source material has been preserved nicely and the sound is nicely separated. It's wonderful to be able to own a copy of this record finally, an album that has lived with me for a long time in different places, times and environments.

"mastered from old analogue sources"? My copy is very quiet after extended ultrasonic baths, so I'm wondering if the few clicks I hear are due to the tape or record they used for this. Anyways, the sound is clear and well-balanced.

Chiming in from Los Angeles. My "crystal green" copy is pristine and plays in immaculate fashion. No issues with mine.

Got lucky with mine, but then RTI usually does excellent vinyl.

What IS truly spectacular is the mastering. THREE DIMENSIONALITY.

This is why vinyl and good mastering done right still remains the best place to enjoy music

Just picked this up, has a white obi strip, no warp, beautiful dynamic sound and zero vinyl noise. Love it.

Very warped copy, but not to the point of unplayability. Great mastering and silent wax !

This is the preferred original mix of Yoshimura without the added SFX effects on the American release. Both versions used to be able to be streamed but this non FX version is now only available on vinyl. Personally I also much prefer this version.

I've got this black vinyl pressing comes with a white Obi strip. My copy has a very pronounced warp at one point on the record, quite focused and turned up at the outer edge. Hoping i'll be able to flatten it out a little bit!
