Bob Dylan – Planet Waves

Looking for the best pressing of this album, is this the one?

Looks quite mint for a record from the 70s, as confirmed by the etchings. Surface noise during quiet parts so got to think that’s the pressing since I gave it a wet clean with a Spin Clean and still persists. Overall sounds great though – happy to have another Dylan and The Band album in the collection that sounds great. Mine had the plastic with the “Bob Dylan” sticker on it too.

Credits currently say this was cut by Chet Bennett. I have the promotional copy with different initials in the runout: TI/TLo. Curious if anyone has additional information?

Nice pressing. Clean, flat, and quiet. I'm sure its digitally sourced, but the sonics have depth and clarity. Excellent value.

I think this pressing, which sounds great, gets a much higher rating than this album in general. So I’d say get this pressing.

Not sure what would be special about this edition, seems to be a reissue.

I love this pressing. Sounds crisp and clear, with smooth highs (the harmonica will not pierce your ears). Bass could be better, but I haven't compared with other pressings. If you can get a good copy, you won't be disappointed
