Danzig – Danzig

I've got this one, if someone interested in just PM.

Mine isn't marbled, but it is the pink boot, with the "Mother" runouts on both sides. I just got this copy -- it sounds great, but I'm sure it's not as good of a copy as the first pressing, which, although I've never listened to, is supposedly extremely high-quality, not-to-mention rare.
There's a bit of incongruity between the two sides of my copy, at least to my ear. Side A seems to have slightly less-present and less-clear vocals, and an overall less-lively mastering. Side B kicks absolute ass, and made me wish that Side A was as dynamic-sounding. I could change my mind about Side A after a few more listens, but I dinged it a star for these reasons.

If there was ever a contest for owning the very best condition of this record, I’m finishing in the top 3, guaranteed.

The bootleg is a success. The music is perfect, no noise or other issues. Really cool.The only drawback is no gatefold. What a pity.

This boot has enough vocal clarity and deep bass for me so can't complain for the paying 1/10 of the cost of an OG official press. There's some crackling but it's a loud album so you won't hear it much. One gripe I have is that the edges of the vinyl are very sharp and might get a cut on my hand and will have to be sanded down.

This record sounds incredible. I’ve had some ‘unofficial’ versions of this before now and forgot to play the original ( not wanting to overplay it etc ) but every time I go back to it I’m blown away with the clarity of this recording. Recently acquired a 2nd copy too as why is one ever enough when it’s a classic? Both have their subtle differences - but what comes out clear in the original pressings are all the fine and subtle extras in the recorded tracks - the saxophone notes in soul on fire, high chimes and voices in possession, as well as all the subtle b/g female voices that sneak into some other tracks along with some other unusual noise effects here and there. For one of Rick Rubin’s trademark dry sounding rock recordings it is unbelievably rich too. Idk if that makes sense for anyone reading this - but it is a must have album for any hard rock/older metal enthusiasts! Try to get one under £100 - you still can!

Just picked this up. Black vinyl. Record is flat. Breaks are dead quiet. Sounds amazing. Great separation, drums sound crisp & punchy, vocals are clear, guitar & bass are tight. Runout stamped DMM, don't knownif true, but it sounds as good or better as any other medium I own this on.

Fantastic sounding pressing, I still play this album regularly and it sounds as great as the day I bought it. Clean, crisp, and no background noise. Awesome!

Paid $220 off EBay but I’m getting older and no reissues yet! This E.U. pressing sounds phenomenal with punchy strong bass and excellent dynamics. Worth every penny to me to own this masterpiece on vinyl!!!
