Taylor Dayne – Tell It To My Heart

Great sounding 80's record. Sounds great on my table!

I just picked up this Club Edition (Columbia House) and it has the older cloud beige/blue labels!!! Very cool as Canada switched to the mountain labels in 1984 I think.

The year of the release is 1987 and not 1988 as wrongly listed here (there were no "reissues" of this album in Greece).

This CD sounds amazing imo :) flat mastering. No loudness or EQ !! Great !!!

Her voice will grab you by the hair and her sond will make you dance. It’s an amazing debut album. Good lyrics at exaggerated 80s atmosphere. Take a hair brushes, make a big hair and start your own lip sink battle.

Who wrote "want ads" , have I heard it sang by country singer robin lee a few years after. Have i heard it before taylor ?

Looks like the one i have with some differences, The shell is different ( not as textured and there isn't the screw right in the middle at the top , thus the songs are higher up and not as close to the tape window). The song listing on the shell while in the same order the song titles are not on the same line. On my side 1 there's 3 songs on the 1st line and 2 on the 2nd ,whereas this one has 4 on the 1st line, then 1 on the 2nd line. Which reminds me, on the shell above it looks like the sides are listed as A and B but on mine they are 1 and 2.
On side 2 (B) on mine the song line has 2 songs on the 1st line,2 on the 2nd line and 1 on the 3rd line whereas the one above has 3 plus a part of the 4th song title and the 2nd line finishes off the 4th song title then the 5th.
Same catalog number same BASF Chrome markings , same album cover and barcode. Mine also has 7 dots straight across the cassette tape window on both sides with the middle dot being slighyly larger than the rest while the one above is a clear window.
