Lovely record, the twelve inch extended mix is like being punched by a pillow. Wonderfully sad but hopeful at the same time. The boys do it again

So weird that one of THE most iconic and signature PSB songs was never released as a single in the USA

Essential Pet Shop Boys tune, in my humble opinion their trademark and breaking point in their creativeness - pure love!!!

The remixes are great but digitalism is hearable here. Just play B-sides on 33RPM. It will rape your ears.
But it's not Boys job but Brothers - you can hear it on Disco 2 too.

'We all feel better...' is one of my all time personal favorite PSB tracks. The extended mix was not released on the counterpart CD single. The extended mix features an extra verse by Neil Tennant that is not featured in any other mix. Played this late nights at many parties and clubs back in the day. Essential for DJs and collectors and PSB fans! The extended mix of 'Being Boring' is sublime, as well with a very ambient vibe and mellow keyboard notes. Top tune!

fake, homemade/Fanmade cover. 2015 - 2016 counterfeit. radio stations here in mexico never made gifts of records this way.

"Being Boring" is held as a very special song by PSB fans (someone even created a whole 150-page website dedicated to the song for its 10th birthday, true fact), some say their greatest, some even put it up there as one of the greatest pop songs ever written (ie some famous Guardian article) and I would tend to agree. It draws with quiet perfection a particular, euphorizing yet bittersweet feeling of melancholic sophistication.
It's about time and life ing, the wonderful, kitsch-as-it-gets yet sublime black-and-white Bruce Weber video still absolutely diffuses the Zelda-Fitzgerald-citation-vibe which the song is partly inspired by.
All in all, one of the most majestuous, both emotional and detached, pieces of music I know.
The extended version doesn't denature it, making it more dreamy and vaporous.
Together with the extended version of "Jealousy", two of the most aristocratic pop songs out there.

Worth it for the We All Feel Better In The Dark mixes.

I just discovered that there is a typo on the spine of the sleeve: it spells "Being Boing" instead of "Being Boring"
