An alright selection of music, but track A1 is in fake stereo

My copy has a sticker on the bottom (under the EMI logo and made in Japan disclaimer) that lets you know one or more songs is in fake stereo. Does anyone else have this sticker attached? I can't find a copy on Ebay with it.

Absolutely stunning album! It’s amazing how much care they would put to mastering these records back then. Doesn’t disappoint!

My copy is a bit beat up, but aside from the terrible fake-stereo mix of "She Loves You" that makes me feel like I've gone deaf in my left ear, this is still a fabulous sounding comp with true stereo versions of every other song (I don't know why it says "Stereo & Mono" on the cover and label...there isn't a single true-mono song on the album). This is by far the best sounding stereo mix of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" I have on vinyl. Includes a clear plastic inner with Japanese text.

my copy is a little too beat up and sounds raspy but still delivers very good high clarity sound, yellow submarine sound a bit weird probably inner groove distortion, Under light the red looks stunning.

This is a later repressing, 1969 or later, as it has the Parlophone box label redesign.

Very good compilation album of Beatles songs,should definitely get the Peter Jackson’s treatment

While many later compilation albums may be better than this one in of the completeness or the song selections, from the historic perspective, this is the only compilation album released in UK during Beatles' lifetime and the first one endorsed by the band and its record company. Not to mention the memorable period pop-art album cover. Future collectors will take note and the value should increase.
