Traveling Wilburys – Vol. 3

When I read the word Alsdorf on the dead wax of a record i begin to suspect what it sounds like: bright in the high frequencies with very little bass and the feeling that everything is rough as sandpaper.

One of my favorite record store arguments of all time was after the release of Traveling Wilburys Volume 3; customers would come in and insist that their friend most definitely had Traveling WIlburys Vol. 2, that they had heard it, and why wasn't it for sale? They would promise to bring in said friend, with said album, to show us that we didn't know what we were talking about. Well, there must have been an alien abduction outbreak in 1990, because these customers never quite made it back with their friends, and said tape.

Pleased to get a copy with the actual album on it after reading the other reviews! Nice pressing. Quiet, no pops. Nice to have the poly inner sleeve. I’ll be sure to store this in a cool dry place.

Whenever I that when I bought this disc it wasn't this one but disc 2 of the box I think of the one who bought the box and has twice the volume 3. I could have bought the box set but I will never be happier with my volume 3 which is actually the rarities album from the box set of this incredible band

Anyone with this copy that can some photos? I have a sealed copy...

Different transfer than the street release and it sounds terrible. Not much of a loss since this is more like bad sides and bogus tracks anyway. "The food here is terrible!", "Yeah, and such small portions".

This release has excellent sound compared to the CRC version released same year. Unfortunately this is more like b-sides and bonus tracks, with only 2 songs worthy of the talent on hand, that being Inside Out, and Wilbury Twist.

As good as the first album, just different, delivered to the market with less hype. this volume was less 'pop' bit more Dylanesque. first album was fantastic but I always tire less of volume 3.

Good album - however not nearly as quality as the first record... There are several forgettable tracks on this one, whereas vol. 1 was wall-to-wall great. However, the gems here are excellent, there are just fewer of them; Poor House, New Blue Moon, and You Took My Breath Away are standouts.
