Such an uplifting song, surprised it wasn't ripped for a happy hardcore tune back in the day like a lot of other old Italo tunes were.

Edited 5 years agoSo many wonderful songs made by the Valerie Dore team, but this one is my favorite. Love the beat so much on "It's So Closer", more danceable than her first 2 gems, albeit very dark italo songs. The female voice of Valerie Dore is probably the greatest of all, it's mesmerizing and then take the whole layers of the song, this was mastered by masters, and not a one man team, but some of the best at the time. I would love to be in 1985, the studio where this was recorded for the first time, maybe heaven was the location?? I won't try to figure out which vocalist this was vs. which was shown to be the singer but really wasn't, but whoever she is... she is amazing, and she matches "Get Closer" and "The Night", so I must assume one and the same. "It So Easy" is nothing short beautiful and is in my top 10 ever. -
A close second behind "Get Closer" as Valerie's finest release and undoubtably an all-time Italo great. Sublime, melancholic 80s dance number.
