Pendulum (3) – Hold Your Colour

One of my favorite albums of all time. Pendulum really was the king of this genre.... The pressing seems ok, noise floor's high and some fuzziness regarding the quality throughout. Glad I managed to get it but definitely in the lower echelon of quality pressings I own unfortunately.

Nice bass, clear vocals, no warp in the vinyl and great memories.

How can you tell the difference between 2005 pressing & this? Matrix/ runouts/ barcode/ sleeve all the same so I'm not sure which version I have...

So much better than a digital copy. There's excellent transitions between each track and overall the whole thing sounds perfect. Definitely one of my top 10 albums of all time. It's a shame about the missing tracks (ittedly the replacements are still great classics), however it's unfortunately disappointing that they aren't bonus tracks instead of replacements.

Many of the tracks on this specific release feature a voiceover saying "you're listening to [track name] from Pendulum's forthcoming album, Hold Your Colour" which basically ruins each of the affected the tracks. Fortunately though, this voiceover is *not* present on Tarantula, Hold Your Colour, or Another Planet, so those tracks are all unaffected.

Sounds good if you crank the treble, which makes it match the digital version mix wise, otherwise it sounds weirdly muddy.

Gee, have I lost at least a liter of sweat on dancefloors over these contents.
The change of melody in Slam just does it. Fun it is.
Recently listened to this and still gives met crazy energy.
Sound quality? Fantastic.

dark and moody sound bur very detailed punchy and catchy

Solid pressing, heavyweight, sound quality is great - but could be a tad better. Overall very happy with this one.

Undisputed classic of the genre, just make sure you get the version with Still Grey on it!
