RCA releases of Drive-In Saturday from1973's David Bowie - Aladdin Sane usually are coupled with the 1971 recording Round and Round.
Round and Round is the modified title given to Chuck Berry's Around and Around. The recording was intended for David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, though replaced before release. See link for more information.
Drive-In Saturday appears on a few singles as a coupling with another "A" side. These include:
* David Bowie - 夜をぶっとばせ = Let's Spend The Night Together / Drive-In Saturday
* David Bowie - Life On Mars? / Drive-In Saturday
* David Bowie - The Jean Genie / Drive-In Saturday
Most editions have the full album version, an edited version (3:59) which fades out approximately 40 seconds earlier is used on the German edition.

What a classic single!!! Is it me though but does Drive In Saturday feel a bit like a forgotten Bowie single ? I when it was released it did respectably in the charts. I wonder if its non appearance on ChangesOne has lessened its punch ? Same with Sorrow.
Anyway 5/5 for this. Nice to have a non album B side too, although its not a song I like much. Velvet Goldmine would have been better imo. Then you’d have a really classy glam 7” :)
