Beck – Morning Phase

Very nice………..

I was actually expecting a bit more if I’m honest lol. But that could just be because I like very clear diction with a forward vocal & although this ‘is’ excellent it’s just a personal preference that I wanted more ‘Detail’ than ‘Effect’.

A lot of people lament about the strings & separation and although it’s ’Very Good’ I have other LP’s that are better & more dynamic!

But I had to hear this because……. Mastered by Ludwig, Cut by Grundman, Pressed by Pallas lol, it had the Holy Grail written all over it.

I’m doing it an injustice but then I’m comparing it to other Lp’s in my collection such as Dire Straits first studio ‘1979’ album, Leonard Cohen’s ‘Ten New Songs’, Robert Cray’s ‘False Accusations etc…..

It’s good, I’m pleased I have it. Could be slightly quieter after another Wet Clean/Vacuum Clean, it’s pressed by Pallas so I expected absolute perfection after the first lol.

A bit quiet but it needs that for the dynamic range.

All in all, very happy with it, second shelf for me.

Sounds great- a bit lower in volume than many pressings, but the bass is solid and clarity is awesome. Quiet vinyl makes this a keeper.

Incredibly good pressing, proper lined inner sleeve, whisper quiet, great mix, no complaints. Well worth picking up.

I buying this in mid 2014 when I was going through a very lonely and detached phase in my life. It was a comfort.

Hi, anyone else with this EAN-number but sticker and no code? Instead of them, a "Made in "-sticker on the backside.

I gotta echo what everyone else is saying. This is an incredibly good pressing. Very pleased.

I got this when originally released. Pressing is from Pallas (), with poly/paper inner sleeve, and it was stellar at first listen. Properly cared for, it should remain that way. If you're the Beck fan who is more into Sea Change than Odelay, this is one to get.

Fantastic press. Everything pops in just the right way, in just the right areas. Very full sounding press.

Beautiful press, sounds great! Mine was purchased used and was missing the liner notes though so if anyone could point me out to where I could get a copy of the liner notes it would be appreciated
