Absolute terrible mastering! I hate whatever mastering filter Kniteforce are using on their releases. Such great releases have been allowed to be repressed, but when I learn that Kniteforce are putting some of them out I just shudder and sigh! -
Champion Sound was the first Jungle track that really grabbed me back in the 90s when I heard it on the radio. The flip however is also solid! 2 killer remixes here from The Alliance! Propa jungle bizznuss!

A nice loud pressing with much better clarity on the high hats than the more recent Knightforce reissue. -

Champion Sound was kind of bad, much in the same way as Super Sharp Shooter or most of what Andy C has made, but Night Moves really saves this 12". -

One amusing fact about Champion Sound is that the original never made it to any known CD whether in full or mixed, official or not. The compilation Original Drum & Bass Selection even claims that since it's generally the Alliance Remix appearing they dug a bit deeper to get the original, yet it's still the Alliance version :)

Compared with original (LEG 006), sound is terrible. Mids pinned down, lows unnaturally swollen. And what happens to reverb after 6th minute in "Champion Sound"? Terrible default preset on multibands compressor/limiter! omg.. Tired of the Kniteforce "bottle" compressor on every release lately... -
So is this confirmed to become officially repressed? The original version i mean. . . . . .

champion sound remix gets rinsed all the time, a very 'modern' tune and stood out quite a bit

Champion sound samples poor mans story by sir coxson's sound a dub record. The tune has one of the best basslines in dance music and is a very known track, definietly worth the money. Night moves is one banger as well both sides are gold on wax
