Album sounds great and quiet, however not 180g as the notes describe. Both of mine weigh in at 150g. Not as good as the Angst 2LP pressing but still great. Now they just need to release Adios on vinyl.

Does this issue include a lyric insert like the 2×LP reissue?

This has always been one of my favorite KMFDM albums, and was so excited when I learned they were finally going to press on vinyl, but imagine my surprise to find they completely ruined the flow of the album by changing the order of the songs for no good reason. It makes it so hard to enjoy an album that I had imagined would often be on my turntable, but every time I drop the needle I start to cringe. Shame on Cap'n K for offering this abomination of what should be such a great album. Same goes for Angst, although he didn't change the order of the songs on that one, throwing the single version of Blood at the end of a side rather than at the end of the album also for me ruins the flow of a flawless album

I stumbled across this CD while listening to some music similar to The Prodigy on YouTube, a few years ago. In the recommendations, "Megalomaniac" was included. When I played it, it suddently brought back memories from the early 2000's when my older brother and I played "Test Drive 5".
I also learned that this particular tune is part of the "Mortal Kombat Annihilation" soundtrack, now my favorite movie OST.

My personal favorite pick is "Anarchy". The beats are super addictive, especially when they're in a rolling mode from time to time.
Another monster is the last track "Waste". Arguably the most brutal track from this release, especially with its lyrics.
The guitars at the beginning of "Stray Bullet" gives some of the biggest goosebumps you're able to experience.
Contrariwise, if you want a more "relaxed" type of industrial, "Mercy" is in this kind of mood.
"Down And Out" even features a few horn notes, not the type of instrument you would expect in such an LP.
On the contrary, I do not enjoy "Leid Und Elend" as much as the rest of the CD, and there are a few seconds here and there that I don't keep in mind for a long time.

This combination of electronic music and industrial rock ruled several video games and movies from the 90's and it defined many childhoods including mine.

at this point kmfdm was definitely aware of their place in anime + hacker culture and the electronic cyberpunk element was pushed to the max instead of the more extreme guitar rock approach, though it is still present. seems like their response to all the awesome soundtrack work they were doing. adios seems to be connected in sound as there isn't much in their catalog that sounds quite like either of these releases. booming bass slides around and distorts with alien harmonics resonating through the synth sequences. the highlight of the album is probably torture which features ohgr on vocals. a great place to start getting into kmfdm!

How does it sound? Its alot of time for both sides on a Single LP (arpund 29 mins and 24 mins) so im wondering about the sound quality, if it sounds decent I might get this instead of the Reissue since im not really that big of a fan of Double Albums.

KMFDM's ninth studio album, and sadly the beginning of the end for them. Not a bad album by any means (easily still in their top five best), but not their former glory, such as Nihl, Xtort, or even Angst. People wanting fast and catchy singles will be happy with this one with tracks like Megalomaniac and Anarchy, but the album lacks the cohesiveness of their previous material, with some tracks just being throw a ways once again. The album has a few really good hidden gems, like "Waste" but then tracks like "down and out" just feel like they drag on and on, or fill space, but in the end it just feels like too many people are involved: too many to allow it to feel cohesive as a work, instead of a collection of random songs with a couple of big singles, even Sasha himself has been quoted as saying " I listened to the Symbols album and heard exactly why KMFDM broke up in the first place. It told me the story of what went wrong. There were maybe two (good) songs on that album and the others were just a bunch of compromising tug-of-wars. That was something I was not going to do again".

Excellent audio. I've compared it to some flac files and it sounds the same. Printing is very nice, inner sleeves contains lyrics. Highly recommended release.
