I saw some beautiful and expensive Mint sealed copies listed here. Just want to warn you about my story...

A friend of mine picked-up for me a so called "Mint sealed" copy of a Japanese press in Paris () from a store which is listing here and many others "Mint sealed" nice records.

My friend is not a collector/expert and despite the shrink had been opened and the record checked, he didn't see the very light hairlines and spindle marks difficult to see at day light.

The record is more or less NM all around and an insert was missing. It costed me probably twice the price I should have been paying for. It's not bad grading, it's simply robbery.

So, be careful, famous old records still sealed are pretty rare on the market. Only real collectors and very serious stores like some I'm in touch with in Japan and the US can be trusted. And unfortunately more and more robbers like that shop in Paris are re-sealing records to make more money faster. I gave it a try. Too bad for me. A second try is not necessary, just don't buy anything from that guy.

I am a huge Led Zep fan and picked this up, my word what awful drivel...

So glad to have this in my collection, its a really well done record, top notch for sound quality and, in my opinion, the best version of Kasmir, even better than the standard version on Physical Graffiti. Truely epic.

This bootleg isn't going to fool anyone into thinking its the real deal. This album for some reason has never been officially repressed, so unless you want to pay a kings ransom for the original, this is your option.

The cardboard sleeve is of decent quality and holds the 2 LPs nicely. The album art itself looks like a 100x100 pixel image blown up to LP sleeve size - it looks awful. There are tons of high quality scans online that could've been used, no idea why they weren't. My copy shipped with good quality inner sleeves.

The marbled white vinyl looks nice. The labels look good enough. The LPs are fairly heavy, not 180g but somewhere in the ballpark. My copies were not warped at all.

The sound quality is all over the place. It sounds like someone ed five different copies of the album all from different sources, and mixed them together. The first LP sounds pretty flat and sometimes just bad. The second LP sounds pretty good. There are short dead spots between the songs that aren't meant to be there, which is jarring - again I think this was sourced from old MP3s.

I give this a C-. It's OK, but not really worth what's being asked for it. Just wait for an official re-release.

I just purchased this for $160 used but still in shrink with original hype sticker and in NM/NM condition. And it sounds phenomenal! Agree with other commenters, wonderful pressing, very quiet and very dynamic. Agree
