Fast Eddie commonly known as mainly a Hip-House producer. One of the most famous in the field, probably closely tied with Tyree. But he also produced some of the best TB-303 Acid House for me. All the mixes are essential, Fast Thunder (Fast Eddie Mix) showcases the bassline in all its pure, raw glory. Mesmerising. You just know Pierre's Dream Girl (Wet Dream) is aching to be mixed in with this.

Lea Bridge Rd. Arches. Fast Thunder was the tune of the opening night, suited the enclosed arches where you could touch the top of the arches, dripping with sweat and condensation.
        Happy days..

Someone mentioned in another comment about a W/L promo of this that was a 2x12" set so you could create a continus track out of the components ultimately allowing you to create a very lenghty version of Acid Thunder. But there's no sign of it here. He did mention it was quite a rare version of the release. Anyone know anything of this ?

Tyree’s acid over and fast eddie’s acid thunder, what can I say,at the age of fifteen it absolutely pulled me in and acid has never let me go,was getting into house before this but acid tracks like these spun my head and it’s great to see how many others it reached around the world.

It's the digital perfection of modern music & mastering that left me lingering in the 80's & earlier. It's tape hiss & the whoosh of a needle in a groove that tickles my ears like most current production can't. This didn't need a re-master.

Yet another acid classic ruined by noise removal remastering. Why can they not just accept that a late 80s track is never going to sound as clean as a modern production?

Probably the best DJ International release especially if you like Acid House. I before the success of Rockin' Down The House this was the track all DJs played. I would think this along with Acid Over by Tyree was the pinnacle of the Acid loops fusion with Hip-House era. An amazing track.
