Various – Blade II The Soundtrack

Banger after banger... One of my favorite soundtracks ever. Considering this is a compilation and probably digitally sourced, it sounds better than any other source I've heard, surprisingly good. The blue vinyl looks great

Same soundtrack producers of Judgment Night and Spawn and now Blade II. Trilogy of awesome crossover music soundtracks. I like them all.

Is this a judgment night rip off? Am I right?

Some really good stuff on this... a good line up / artist mix. Bought in the US / Boston as an import, strange given the UK / Bristol flavour

Actually kinda shocked on how good this record sounds, excellent quality for colored vinyl.

This album is a must have for any collector of movie soundtracks. It's a fantastic sequel to the first movies OST and a brilliant use of a cross-over genre idea first used in the 'Spawn OST' a couple of years before. Here we have dance acts going head to head with hip-hop legends, unlike the first film's record where the styles split the album in two.I it I originally bought it back in the day for the Gorillaz mash-up with Redman (they had remixed one of his tracks the same year so it was more of a 'tit for tat' thing) but as a whole the album is a great journey through the dark cityscape of the film it represents. Out of all the franchises works this is the best. The first film's OST was too divided (and a lot of the Hip-Hop hasn't aged well) and the OST for 'Blade Trinity' seemed to be a little too hastily put together, like they felt obligated to make it (that or in the space between Blade II and Trinity the music scene had changed too rapidly for it to be relevant anymore). Get this album if you like a little mix up in your life and want to discover something different from either side of the genres.
