It’s so limited that it is, 6 years after release, still available sealed for 30,- euro. I payed 50 pounds at release . Damn. :-)
-
Wicked & disturbing at the same time, as Bob actually tries to SING these songs, as opposed to growling them as he usually does. Either way, this 3xLP faux-78rpm bookleted sumbitch should have come with a bottle of hooch!
-
I love this album. Truly recordings that you sink into and get lost in.
For the record, my disc 1 is a little off centre, but it is not audible. And there are no pressing flaws on it at all.
It sounds absolutely gorgeous. I have number 11333. A truly beautiful record. -
The wraping is nice, but the pressing sucks big time. Even after a wash, theres still to much noise and crackle all over all three disc's. I'm glad that I bought it on a bargain sale
-
Edited one year agoNot his best. For those that require to be completists. If you can live without owning every copy of his recordings, listen to it first before purchase. Music is well done, Bob’s voice does not do this justice. Also the pressing is not that great.
-
And also - it is a terrific copy. No issues at all. Exactly the same as the other ones with printed numbers...just none on this one.
-
Hi all,
That have posted...just got around to seeing this.
I ordered and got it from the Bob Dylan Website - basically the day it was announced.
What do you think about that? -
3 copies of the deluxe version bought so far. All off centre and riddled with more pressing flaws then you could wave a stick at dimples, bits of crud in the disc. Just awful and very very frustrating.
-
Edited 8 years agojust how limited is this 'limited edition' ?
does a 5 digit number mean up to 99999 copies ?
edit;
this site says 15,000 worldwide
https://www.whatrecords.co.uk/items/75728.htm -
I have received and there exists a copy of this 'limited edition, numbered' version without the number printed on the back. Everything about the version I received is the same as the listed one here except the number is not printed on it. I have put a photo in the images page.
