Never had other pressings to compare with, but can testify that this one sounds glorious, especially noticing the low end being fat and punchy. Vinyl is very quiet! if you want to listen with 100% no clicks…buy a CD. Vinyls are never perfectly silent and people tend to go too far with their expectations. Anyway, highly recommended if you love this album.

Almost unbelievably good sound on this release. Finally a touchpoint where we can say with some certainty that Abbey Rd’s half-speed mastering is no better than real-time, and that the significant difference is between one 33 against two 45s.

Echoing what others have said, this sounds absolutely incredible. Anyone else hear the split-second dropout of the left channel in the middle of "The Big Ship"?

I have the Editions EG reissue Brian Eno - Another Green World and was skeptical to buy this one, because I usually don't buy the same album twice, but the reviews made me curios. To be on the short side: I don't know if those were the limitations of the 70's, but the reissue I have sounds like a lo-fi version of this remaster and when I bought the reissue, I was thinking that maybe this was the sound that defined experimental/ambient music back then.
This remaster brings a new light on the old release, and lots of details surfaced up: as mentioned on the strip, the highs are improved (but I think this is just the re-mastering, not the half-speed stuff), the baseline is not stronger as mentioned somewhere below, but rather the higher harmonics have been highlighted and the bass sounds are a bit more meaty.
With the opening of the high-frequency, the stereo image has improved and the voices are more prominent and more easy to be separated. Overall, it's a fantastic release with very low surface noise.
One thing I observed through most of the re-issues now days: I don't think that they have access to the original artworks anymore, and some details are lost on many releases (different colors, more pixelated, etc.). But since we're talking music here, for me it doesn't matter as much if the music is good. -
This is a perfect pressing, zero noise, absolutely beautiful sound. It just can't be better. The Big Ship and Becalmed are pure bliss

I noticed a significant amount surface noise and clicks, however dust was building up on my stylus as the record played. I cleaned it off and replayed each track and then it was noise free. I repeated this for each track on each disc. I always clean every record before playing it for the first time and this was no exception. Even though the discs were visually flawless there was a lot of crap deep in the grooves. once i played it through and kept my stylus clean it played dead quiet.

Seems everyone got really clean pressings, mine looks clean but there was some crackling on side B of disc 2. Anyone else notice this? I usually wouldn’t complain but I paid $45 for this thing.
