Does no one else consider it silly to categorise this album on Discogs as a proper album release?

I went to see Aphex Twin at the Fuji Rock Festival in 2017, and there was no particular announcement that it was on sale, but it suddenly went on sale and sold out in about 2 hours. I doubt there were even 500 copies left. Although the title is "Aphex Mt Fuji 2017," the venue where it was sold was not Mt. Fuji, but a completely different mountain called Naeba in Niigata Prefecture.

I’m so confused why it’s 430 dollars for a copy, but it’s limited and it’s Aphex so that makes sense

This will have to be a hard (*) for far too many reasons to enumerate. May all that own them enjoy their copies.

I’ll buy it, I’ll listen to it, but I won’t like it

If you can stand the noise it's comparable to his digital-only release Tunings For Falling Asleep, only these are the ones you couldn't get to sleep from. But I'd agree that this is almost unlistenable and more like snippets of things he could expand into songs instead of proper songs themselves.
The exception is the tracks "Short Forgotten Produk Trk" and "2nd Neotek Test B + 11". The first is a remix (or earlier mix, or different mix in the same series) of track 3 on Syro ("Produk 29"). I think the other track is referencing tracks 7 and 8 off of Orphaned Deejay Selek, however "Neotek" could just be the type of keyboard both were made on. Either way these 2 tracks sound like "normal" Aphex Twin tracks.

Excellent release. I have it in 24Bit 44Khz. The sounds are brilliant and I think what Richard did was to compile a set of sounds so you can place them into mixing software, and let your mind run wild on what you can produce from these tracks.

Still hoping for a CD/Vinyl/Digital release for this, sucks that it's got so much new stuff yet is so ridiculously hard to find and overpriced.
