This is a quality pressing of an excellent album. I wore out this CD back in the day and the sound of it on hefty (180gr?) vinyl is wonderful. Dynamic, balanced; quiet where it should be, and the bass comes through magnificently.

I know this has the correct Matrix number but this is a pretty hefty piece of vinyl. Don't have a gram scale here to weigh it LOL but I wonder if it's not 180 g.

I got this around Feb/23 but played the most during hot summer nights. The copy sounds very good and the dynamics are fire had to re set my fire alarm twice.

This pressing does sound great. Flat, quiet and clear. I'm not sure how this pressing could sound any better.

I had one of these pressings from closer to 2017 but it was badly scratched by the previous owner. I could tell it was a very good sounding pressing in the less damaged parts, so I picked up a new copy pressed closer to 2023. As one would expect they are quite similar, but the 2017 pressing seemed a bit louder and maybe a touch more detailed. The later copy also has that woosh mentioned before that I don't think was in the original, and came in dirtier than almost any record I've ever bought new. Given all that, it is a good pressing to have once cleaned up and I am glad to have a good copy I can play through. Is it as good as a rare 1993 pressing? No, I imagine, but it still sounds solid and better than a CD. The guy that paid $150 for the older pressing of this can sleep soundly that it probably sounds marginally better than the later press, though.

Reading how the EU pressing is better than the US.
I have found a copy of this album, but am very new and don’t know how to tell the difference between a US and EU release?
The album cover says 2017 Capitol Records release, Hollywood… but the plastic wrapping says “Made in Poland”.
What do I look for? -
Don’t know what all these people are raving about. I had the original 10 inch which I unfortunately had to sell because it was scratched but the sound on that was far superior to this. Clear and bright. This one sounds muddy in comparison. Obviously nobody here has heard the original
